We as a campaign want to help and educate people as much as possible into the effects social media has on the younger generation.

Our Main Aims are:

  • To raise awareness into the negative impact social media can have on teenagers mental health from as young as 12-24 years old.
  • To inform and educate those with information into how to seek for help, and provide remedies of self care in order to feel better about themselves and destress from the situation they may be in.
  • To create a community and safe space reassuring those that they’re not alone, and that their individuality is special.

Our objectives we aim to achieve:

  • With the use of our campaign video we aim to reach a target of 150,000 views to feel we are having a major impact like the YoungMinds campaign video. Therefore, educating those into the negative effects social media withholds. Reaching this target amount of views will provide us with a beneficial platform to reach our target audience and supply them with our information.
  • With our campaign we want to create a community and a safe space for those who are struggling. We want them to feel comfortable in reaching out for help and talk to those who have also been in the same position they have and how they have overcome this.
  • We will use our Instagram and TikTok platforms to reach our target audience and gain a following of around 100,000. With the use of  posting schedule we will  catch our audience at the time where they’re most active online and provide them with statistics, activities and solutions into how to overcome the pressure social media.
