We wanted to provide you with some of the websites that help inspire the creation of our campaign. The websites listed below also provide information on how and where to seek help further.

Meic: Home – Home – Meic (meiccymru.org)(Access website here)

Meic is a helpline service for those up to the age of 25 in Wales. They provide so much information, information and useful advice in order to make a positive change for you. Meic will listen even when no-one else will. We took inspiration from this campaign as we aspire to do the same thing but for everyone all over the world.

YoungMinds: Fighting for young people’s mental health

YoungMinds provide the younger generation with tools to look after their mental health. There website is full of information and advice on what to do if you are struggling mentally. They have gone above and beyond and to not only provide help and advice to the young people but also have provided section for the parents and those who work with young people so they can educate themselve and find out how to deal with these situations. Our campaign overall aspires to give the younger generation the space and confidence to feel as though their voices are being heard, we took inspiration from this website because they believe, Together, we can create a world where no young person feels alone with their mental health.

‘If you are a young person struggling to cope, text YM to 85258 for free, 24/7 support. Whatever you are going through, if it matters to you, it matters to us.’

Samaritans: (Assess website here)Samaritans | Every life lost to suicide is a tragedy | Here to listen

‘Whatever you’re going through, a Samaritan will face it with you. We’re here 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.’

This statement alone provides anyone with the belief that you matter. Samaritans is a brilliant helpline that is available 24/7 for those that need someone to talk to. Although we as a campaign cant offer this, our reasoning for placing this link here is that if you need to speak to someone at antisocial hours we have provided you with a useful and very beneficial helpline to do so.
